Advanced level is for children who already have experience with LEGO robotics, for example through previous classes with us or elsewhere (other schools, courses or clubs). Children who have completed our basic course can expand their knowledge here.
In this advanced course, children further develop their skills by building more complex robot models. They delve into mechanics and programming with the LEGO SPIKE Essential set, creating innovative solutions to challenging problems. This course promotes collaboration and critical thinking as children design and program their own robots using more advanced techniques. Prepare for exciting projects and discover the possibilities within robotics!
Main goals
Robotics advanced
Students will deepen their understanding of robotics by building and programming more complex robot models using the same LEGO SPIKE Essential set. They will expand their previous knowledge by exploring new techniques and components.
Mechanics
The children will continue to explore mechanical principles, such as the operation of more sophisticated mechanisms and the application of forces and motion. They will learn how to use these principles to create more efficient and innovative robots.
Programming
Students will improve their programming skills through the use of a block-based programming language and, in addition, the introduction of text-based commands (similar to Scratch). They will learn how to combine sequences of commands, use variables, and develop algorithms for complex problem solving. This will enable them to control their robots with more precision and creativity.
Data
The 7 classes will take place on Saturdays in 2025 on: Mar 15, Mar 22, Mar 29, Apr 5, Apr 12, May 10, May 17 (no class on Apr 19, Apr 26, May 3).

Cancellation policy and trial period
Note: This trial period applies only to new students who have not yet taken classes with us.
We work with a trial period of two weeks. If you cancel before the third lesson, we will refund the money for the remaining lessons within a few days. This way you don't run any risk if your child finds the activity too exciting.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to class via email or our contact form.
