Basic Level is designed for children who are just starting out and have no experience with LEGO robotics. Here they will learn the basics of robotics, with no previous knowledge required.
At this level, children will become interested in conscious exploration of the world, building robot models with their own hands, learning the basics of mechanics, using learned mechanisms to create their own robots, and learning the basics of programming with the block-based LEGO SPIKE Essential set.
Main goals
Robotics basics
Students will learn the working principles of robots, different components and sensors, and learn how to build and program their own robot models.
Mechanics
The children will learn the basic principles of mechanics, such as forces, motion, transfer of motion and transmission of force through mechanisms such as worm gear drives, gears, belt drives and many others. They will learn how to apply this knowledge to create efficient and functional robots.
Programming
Students will learn the basics of programming using a block-based programming language (LEGO SPIKE Essential). Included in this program are commands such as motion, speed, command repetition, operation of various sensors (motion sensor, tilt sensor, etc.). They will learn how to create sequences of commands to control the movement and interaction of their robots and develop algorithms for troubleshooting.

The 7 classes will take place on Saturdays in 2025 on: Mar 15, Mar 22, Mar 29, Apr 5, Apr 12, May 10, May 17 (no class on Apr 19, Apr 26, May 3).

Cancellation policy and trial period
We work with a trial period of two weeks. If you cancel before the third lesson, we will refund the money for the remaining lessons within a few days. This way you don't run any risk if your child finds the activity too exciting.
Note: This trial period applies only to new students who have not yet taken classes with us. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before class via email or our contact form.
